Today I asked one of the grade one student girls to show two of the boys a new reading game. One of the boys started giggling and then said, "This is kind of weird, I've never been teached by a girl before."
I said, "What do you mean? What do you think I am?"
To which he replied, "You're a teacher."
"Yes, but I'm a girl."
"Oh."
"And what is your mom?" I asked.
"A girl," he said still giggling.
