Biography

Glenwood has been home to me since birth, and in 1986 my husband, Paul, and I returned here to finish raising our six children. We've been blessed with 17 grandchildren so far and they all love to visit us in Glenwood.

Music has played an important role in all our lives and we thank the exceptional Band Program in the Westwind School Division for helping our children and grandchildren to develop their musical talents.

Educational Assistant duties began at the Glenwood School in the Fall of 1990 and has given me the opportunity to work with two outstanding principals (Mr. Doug Smith and Kelly Thomas). I don't know where you'd find better teaching staff. I'm continually amazed at the exceptional, innovative instruction that carries on year after year at the Glenwood School and count it as a privilege to assist these outstanding teachers in a vast array of subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science and Music). I love preparing the Honor Rolls and the annual Remembrance Day Program and Talent Shows.

Best of all is interacting daily with delightful students of all ages and abilities - from elementary to Jr. High. "Sound City" and teaching Speech/Language skills on a one on one level is really a highlight. I've loved it all. The best compliment is hearing the words, "Thank you for helping me , Mrs. Clark. I love you."
