Helping Hand Reading
Everyday students read a book to their helping hand partner. Their partner is there to help the other student if they come across words that they can't figure out, to check their partner's accuracy and to ask questions in order to build comprehension.

Library Time
The kids love to go to the library and read their new books every Tuesday. Please help students remember that they have library on Tuesdays and in order to be able to bring their book home they MUST have their plastic ziploc bag with them.
Reading Practice
Students practice words and sounds using flashcards and games everyday. Students can choose with their partner what games they want to use during their reading practice time.
